Quebec’s Eco-Trucking program back in business
Quebec’s Eco-Trucking program has been officially reopened with $145.4 million in funding now available for fleets looking to improve their sustainability.
The program was suspended last fall when funds were depleted. Several industry players — including the Quebec Trucking Association (QTA), Propulsion Québec and many carriers — had called for its relaunch in a joint statement.

“It is essential to support the road freight transport industry in its transition to green technologies. I am aware that the renewal of the Eco-Trucking program was expected by the industry, and it has now been done,” said Jonatan Julien, minister of transport and sustainable mobility. “I encourage companies in the sector to submit their funding applications and embrace sustainable mobility.”
The program is funded through March 2028.
