The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has announced the 2026 class of Elite Fleet certified carriers. Now in its second year, the program recognizes for-hire truckload fleets that demonstrate excellence in driver-focused workplace practices.

Developed in partnership with the University of Denver’s Transportation & Supply Chain Institute, the Elite Fleet certification recognizes carriers that prioritize competitive compensation, strong safety cultures, driver engagement, and initiatives to improve the quality of life behind the wheel, TCA said in a news release.

All 57 of this year’s certified U.S. and Canadian fleets completed a comprehensive evaluation that examined their performance indicators, including safety, driver satisfaction, turnover, compensation and benefits, equipment quality, operational efficiency, and overall driver experience. Surveys of company drivers and independent contractors were used to validate carrier submissions, ensuring transparency and credibility in the certification process.

“Following a successful first year, the TCA Elite Fleet program has quickly become a meaningful benchmark for excellence in our industry,” said TCA president Jim Ward in the release. “The carriers recognized in 2026 have demonstrated a strong commitment to investing in their drivers and fostering environments where professionals can thrive. We commend these fleets for raising the bar and helping move our industry forward, and we look forward to celebrating their achievements at our upcoming event.”

The 2026 Elite Fleet carriers will be recognized during TCA’s Annual Convention in Orlando, Fla., with a dedicated awards program scheduled for March 2.

Several Canada-headquartered carriers were recognized in the 2026 Elite Fleet class, including Bison Transport, Erb Transport, Kriska Holdings, TransX, Mill Creek Motor Freight, Transpro Freight Systems, Lion Force Transport, Fortigo Freight Services, and Royal Logistics.
