Dexter appoints Powell as president
Dexter, a supplier of trailer axles and components and a subsidiary of DexKo Global, has appointed Matt Powell as its new president. He will succeed longtime leader Adam Dexter.
Dexter is stepping down after more than 30 years with the company and will continue to serve as executive advisor until his planned retirement in 2026, ensuring a smooth transition.
Powell joins Dexter from Modine Manufacturing, where he served as group vice-president.
He brings experience in manufacturing, operations, and strategic growth, the company said in a news release, adding that his leadership style aligns with Dexter’s values of quality, innovation, and customer service.
“Dexter has always been about people — our team, our customers, and our partners. I’m confident Matt will carry that forward with the same passion and integrity,” said Adam Dexter.
The company said the leadership transition marks a new chapter while reaffirming its commitment to delivering the service and products customers expect.
