FleetPride and TruckPro announced the two companies completed a merger Oct. 28, creating an independent distributor and service provider in the heavy-duty aftermarket parts industry. Both companies will operate under the FleetPride brand, leveraging greater parts availability, deeper technical expertise, service and an enhanced ecommerce experience.

Operating under the combined ownership of American Securities and Platinum Equity, the company will be headquartered in Irving, Texas, with a satellite office in Memphis, Tenn. It will be led by Tom Greco, who became CEO in July this year. Meanwhile, Chuck Broadus, TruckPro’s president and CEO, will continue to lead the TruckPro business, reporting to Greco. They will collaborate closely in the upcoming months to support the integration efforts.

The combined organization now spans more than 450 locations, including 110 service centers and six distribution centers across the U.S. and Canada. FleetPride said the merger strengthens its nationwide footprint, expands parts availability, and enhances its ecommerce and logistics networks.

“This strategic merger is about more than combining two businesses, it’s about building a culture that values people, brings best practices from both organizations and drives innovation,” Greco said in a news release. “Together, we are creating a stronger, faster-growing company that will deliver greater value for customers and growth opportunities for our team members and suppliers.”

“We are bringing together the strengths of both organizations as we align our knowledgeable team members, extensive networks and resources to deliver best-in-class service to the heavy-duty aftermarket,” Broadus added.
