Freightliner topped Class 8 sales in February

TORONTO, Ont. — The surging demand for highway tractors continues to push up projections for North American truck sales this year.

According to Canadian retail figures from WardsAuto, Freightliner led the way in February’s Class 8 sales, with 521 units, and International took the top spots for Class 7 with 211 trucks and Class 6 with 56 units. Ford topped the monthly sales of Class 5 trucks with 282 sales for the month.
