FTR opens registration for 2025 transportation conference
Freight Transportation Research (FTR) has opened early bird registration for its 21st annual transportation conference, set to take place Sept. 8–11 at the Crowne Plaza at Union Station in Indianapolis, Ind.
Known for its emphasis on data-based decision-making and real-time market forecasting, the conference brings together analysts, supply chain professionals, and industry leaders to examine the economic, regulatory, and political developments shaping the freight transportation landscape. With continued volatility in freight markets, tariffs, and regulatory uncertainty, this year’s sessions are designed to help attendees turn market uncertainty into a strategic advantage, FTR said in a news release.

The conference features three specialized ‘tracks’ designed to meet the needs of professionals across the trucking and rail sectors. The Truck Track begins on Sept. 8 with a focus on truck equipment and continues on Sept. 9 with sessions on freight market performance. The Freight Track overlaps on Sept. 9 with truck freight insights and extends into Sept. 10, focusing on rail freight trends. The Rail Track picks up on Sept. 10 with an analysis of rail freight and concludes on Sept. 11 with sessions covering rail equipment, capacity, and investment trends.
