Imperial Dade Canada receives first Mack Pioneer in the country
Imperial Dade Canada has taken delivery of the first Mack Pioneer in Canada, marking the debut of the new truck north of the border. The day cab unit was delivered through Vision Truck Group’s Cambridge, Ont., location and will serve southwestern Ontario, covering 800 to 1,000 km daily as part of the company’s distribution network.
The delivery marks an early milestone for Mack’s newest highway model, unveiled in April 2025, which the company calls its most aerodynamic and driver-focused truck to date.

“This first Canadian delivery demonstrates the confidence that forward-thinking fleets place in the Pioneer’s advanced design and capability,” said Jonathan Randall, president of Mack Trucks North America, in a news release. “Imperial Dade’s selection of this truck, combined with support from Vision Truck Group, positions them to achieve new levels of efficiency and performance.”
Imperial Dade Canada operates 25 distribution centres across the country, with more than two million square feet of warehouse space and over 1,000 employees. The distributor specializes in packaging, facilities maintenance supplies, equipment, and print products, offering next-day delivery to 95% of the Canadian market.
“Imperial Dade Canada is proud to be the first in Canada to put the Mack Pioneer on the road,” said Rob Barr, company’s senior transportation manager. “This milestone reflects our strong partnership with Mack Trucks and Vision Truck Group, and it demonstrates our shared commitment to innovation and sustainability.”
