Kenworth adds 600-hp power to T2000

Kenworth Truck Co.
Kenworth Truck Co. announced that the Cummins Signature 600, Cummins ISX, and Caterpillar C-16 600-horsepower engines are options for its T2000 on-highway model.

“We know that some drivers want and need the power that comes with a 600-horsepower engine,” said Kurt Freitag, Kenworth product marketing manager. “But, they’re also interested in running a lighter, more aerodynamic model like the T2000 since fuel can be their number one operating cost. We’ve made the Cummins Signature 600, Cummins ISX and Caterpillar C-16 600-horsepower engines available in the T2000 for those interested customers.”
