Koch acquires Store Opening Solutions to boost warehousing operations
Koch Companies said it has acquired Store Opening Solutions (SOS) to strengthen its warehousing and fulfillment operations.
SOS is based in Murfreesboro, Tenn., and was owned by Marmon Holdings. It will become part of the Koch Logistics division. The deal doubles Koch’s warehousing footprint, bringing the total to more than three million square feet.

“Bringing SOS into the Koch Companies family represents a meaningful step in our long-term strategy to strengthen and expand our logistics, fulfillment, and trucking capabilities,” said Chief Operating Officer Jeff Koch.
Koch, based in Minneapolis, has five units that offer an integrated solution for transportation, logistics, warehousing, and truck/trailer leasing. Koch and SOS have previously partnered to support some of the largest retailers through store expansion and brand conversion.
“Koch Logistics has a 25-year history working alongside SOS, and we are extremely excited about what the future holds as we blend the best of both companies,” said Darren Nelson, general manager of Koch Logistics and Warehousing.
