WINNIPEG, MB – Maxim Truck and Trailer raised $23,000 for the CancerCare Manitoba Foundation’s Challenge for Life campaign, through a May 26 barbecue that attracted about 600 people.

Doug Harvey, the company president, is also the current chairman of the foundation and has faced his own battle with cancer in the past year.

“I’m proud of the staff, customers, suppliers and friends who continually support and participate in our annual charity events like our BBQ,” said Harvey. “I can tell you first-hand that the funds raised are being put to good use.”
