Mrakovich named vice president of engineering at Truck-Lite
The lighting and wiring harness manufacturer Truck-Lite has welcomed Matt Mrakovich as vice president of engineering.
Mrakovich has decades of experience in technology development across commercial and consumer markets and is an inventor on 44 U.S. patents, according to a news release.
He joins Truck-Lite after nearly five years of serving as a vice president of engineering at Vita-Mix Corporation, a global provider of blending services for household and commercial customers.
Earlier in his career, he spent 19 years at GE Current, formerly GE Lighting Solutions, where he led the development of new LED lighting technologies.
During his time there, Mrakovich held leadership roles including technology leader for global outdoor and industrial product development, and technology strategist, guiding innovation and growth strategies for LED products. His work included launching multiple “best-in-class” product platforms and developing GE’s first IoT-connected outdoor lighting products, the company said.
“We are extremely fortunate to have Matt join the team at Truck-Lite,” said Jon Stineman, president of Truck-Lite, in the release. “He brings exceptional depth of expertise to our organization as we continue introducing industry-first technologies that improve the safety and performance of our fleet customers”
