NAFA Sustainable Truck Fleet Awards Now Taking Submissions

PRINCETON, NJ — Set up to celebrate fleet managers who have implemented their organization’s sustainability plan, NAFA Fleet Management Association is now accepting submissions for their Sustainable Fleet Awards.

The deadline to submit is Feburary 17, 2012. Candidates must be members of NAFA (North American Fleet Administrators) to qualify.

The application may be submitted by anyone who is employed in a vehicle management role by any company, utility, government agency or not-for-profit in Canada or the U.S.

NAFA members can nominate themselves and their fleet team, and non-members, suppliers, and vendors can nominate NAFA members provided the NAFA member signs the entry form.

Candidates are judged by a panel of OEM manufacturers, automotive publishing companies, leasing companies and fleet managers from both the private and public sectors.

Nominees are judged on creativity, innovation, and demonstrated energy consumption reduction.

The winners will be announced during NAFA’s 2012 Institute and Expo April 21-24, 2012.
