Navistar appoints Oh as chief digital, information officer
Navistar has welcomed Robert Oh as its chief digital and information officer (CDIO), effective Sept. 16.
Oh brings extensive experience in leading digital transformation and IT for Fortune 500 companies, Navistar claims. Most recently, he served as executive vice-president of corporate digital and chief operating officer of the digital innovation business unit at Doosan Group for almost five years.
At Navistar, Oh will oversee the development and execution of a digital roadmap aimed at accelerating innovation and growth while modernizing systems to ensure a secure and resilient digital infrastructure.
He will also be responsible for improving the company’s IT processes to maximize efficiency and deliver differentiated digital solutions to dealer partners and customers. Oh will ensure that the technological functionality supports the company’s overall strategic vision and maintains a productive work environment.
“The introduction of a CDIO is a pivotal moment for Navistar as we align our digital transformation with a connected IT infrastructure,” said Mathias Carlbaum, president and chief executive officer of Navistar, in a news release. “Robert’s technical expertise and drive to act as a change agent will be instrumental as we continue to deliver value to our customers.”
