New execs at Hino Motors Manufacturing, USA

FARMINGTON HILLS, MI – Hino Motors Manufacturing USA has announced a new chairman, president and two executive vice presidents.

Yoshinori Noguchi becomes chairman, building on his roles as president and Chief Executive Officer of Hino Motors Sales, which does business as Hino Trucks. He has been with Hino since 1977 and been in the U.S. since 2013.

Takashi Ono succeeds Kazuhiro Somiya as president. Ono has worked with Toyota Motor Corporation for 35 years and most recently served as senior general manager of Hino Motors.

Davey Jung, who has worked at Hino Motors Manufacturing Michigan offices over the last decade, moves up from the role of senior vice president – purchasing, sales, research and development and corporate strategy. He is now executive vice president. Before joining Hino he spent 13 years at Dana in roles including chief engineer and director of sales.

Kenji Nomura, meanwhile, is named executive vice president – North American vehicle production, in a role that will have him overseeing North American vehicle production and sales, research and development, quality assurance, and other responsibilities.

Hino Motors Manufacturing assembles medium-duty trucks in Williamstown, West Virginia, produces parts in Marion, Arkansas, and operates parts centers in Mira Loma, California and Gahanna, Ohio.
