Nineteen fleets recognized with 2026 Geotab Innovation Awards
Geotab recognized 19 fleets in commercial and private sectors with its 2026 Innovation Awards, crediting them with achieving 35 million safer miles (56 million km) and more than $19 million in savings through data-driven fleet management.
During its annual user conference Geotab Connect in Las Vegas, Nev., the company said the recognized fleets combined have achieved the reduction of 8 million pounds (3.6 million kg) of CO₂ over the past year. Winners represent fleets from the U.S., Canada, the U.K., Latin America and Australia.
The 2026 awards mark the fourth annual recognition of fleets using connected vehicle data and AI-driven insights to improve safety, productivity and sustainability. New categories introduced this year included Safest Driver of the Year and the Marketplace & AI Award.

“Thirty-five million safe miles and $19 million in savings are the result of deliberate, data-driven culture,” said Neil Cawse, founder and chief executive officer of Geotab. “This year’s Geotab Innovation Award winners demonstrate that when you empower people with the right technology, the returns are significant. We celebrate their achievements and recognize the contributions being made to set the bar for the industry.”
Geotab also announced it will donate $20,000 to the Hourglass Foundation for the Geotab Veterans Scholarship on behalf of public sector winners. Commercial winners receive a $2,500 donation to a charity of their choice.
