The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) announced it is now accepting nominations for its 2026 TCA Professional Drivers of the Year awards. Five winners will receive a $20,000 prize each.

The award program celebrates truck drivers employed by TCA carrier members who demonstrate a strong commitment to safety and leadership both on and off the road.

“TCA is looking for those exceptional drivers who have made a significant impact over the past year on the industry, their driver colleagues, their community, and the company that employs them,” the association said in a news release.

“This program is a powerful way to shine a spotlight on the men and women who represent the very best of our industry,” added Zander Gambill, TCA vice-president. “These drivers not only keep our supply chain moving, they lead, inspire, and set the standard for excellence. We’re incredibly grateful to Love’s and Cummins for their continued partnership in celebrating their achievements.”

Applications opened Oct. 16 and will close Dec. 5, 2025. Winners will be recognized and announced at the TCA annual convention, Feb. 28-March 3 in Orlando, Fla.
