TORONTO, ON — The Ontario Trucking Association (OTA) and Indo-Canada Chamber of Commerce (ICCC) are coming together for a joint town hall meeting, in the wake of a recent Memorandum of Understanding between the groups.

The event will be hosted in the Bristol Room at the Westin Toronto Airport hotel on February 22, from 6 to 8 p.m.

With OTA staff on hand to answer questions, the event will focus on key issues like Electronic Logging Devices, Mandatory Entry Level Training, Employment and Social Development Canada audits, and other issues that affect the industry.

In addition, this event offers OTA carriers the chance to meet and mingle with leaders in the South Asian business and transportation communities.

The OTA is expecting 75 to 100 of its delegates from the ICCC to attend and is recommending individuals to register online before all space is exhausted.

The event will only be open to OTA and ICCC members. Registration is free as long as you are a member of OTA and ICCC.
