Range Zero Emissions becomes first Rizon dealer in Washington

Range Zero Emissions vehicles has become the first authorized sales and service partner in Washington State for Rizon’s Class 4–5 battery-electric commercial trucks.

The agreement is strengthening the availability of zero-emission trucks and technology for fleets in the Pacific Northwest. Meanwhile, Range’s sales and service agreement with Rizon extends to the Upper Midwest through Range’s dealership near Minneapolis, giving fleets in both regions access to Daimler’s all-electric medium-duty lineup.

Based in Fife, Wash., Range operates what it calls the first nationwide multi-brand sales, service, incentive, and education resource for commercial EVs. Its experience in charging infrastructure, vehicle lifecycle support, and incentive navigation helps ease the deployment of electric trucks for the local fleets.

“Range is solely focused on building the zero emissions commercial trucking market through sales, education, incentive guidance and power solutions,” said Alex Voets, general manager of Rizon Truck USA. “The dealership’s business model is the missing link necessary to grow the industry. Range simplifies the sales process for OEMs and offers complete solutions for commercial consumers. It’s a natural fit for RIZON as more fleets convert to EVs.”

Range opened its first physical location in Fife in August, and the company’s CEO Johannes Ariens says it has already experienced a surge in interest, sales and commitments from fleet managers in multiple states. “The electrification of the commercial trucking industry is here today,” Ariens said. “The fact that Daimler, the world’s largest commercial truck manufacturer, is committed to the success of Rizon and has entrusted Range with the brand is a testament to the strong future of the industry.”
