Ryder honours two Canuck carriers
MIAMI, Fla. (July 18, 2005) — Transportation and supply chain management provider Ryder System has announced its top carrier selections for the 2004 Ryder Carrier Quality Award.
Byers Transportation System, won the Canadian LTL Regional category, while DHL Express Canada Ltd. was honoured for top Canadian National Courier.
The award recognizes excellence through a variety of metrics, including on-time performance, claims handling, customer service, technology applications, economic value and innovation. Ryder places more than $2 billion of its customers’ freight on selected carriers in all modes of transportation.
