Stemco has introduced a new technologically advanced mileage counter and trip recorder for the heavy duty trucking industry.
The new product, called DataTrac, is an electronic hubodometer that a tool for scheduling maintenance, determining lease charges, validating guarantees and calculating costs per mile.
The lightweight, completely electronic DataTrac is the most accurate mileage counter available for use on both heavy-duty trucks and trailers, claims the company. Retrieval of precise mileage information is simplified by a large, easy to read LCD display. The product can be used in both aftermarket retrofit and original equipment manufacturing applications. The compact size and durability of the DataTrac make it ideal for a wide variety of transportation applications.
DataTrac’s electronic design is Stemco’s first step toward a comprehensive Information Systems product for management of fleet assets and monitoring the use and condition of fleet equipment.
