TCA’s Bridging Border Barriers to tackle benchmarking, market strategies, industry outlook

The Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) set the agenda for its Bridging Border Barriers meeting on Nov. 20 in Mississauga, Ont., which will feature industry experts, including executives from companies such as Erb Transport, TFI International, Kriska Transportation Group and XTL Transport, who will address key topics like benchmarking, regulatory updates, and strategies for navigating the current freight market.

Morning sessions will kick off with a focus on the power of benchmarking, showcasing how carrier companies have utilized the process to improve performance and gain competitive advantages. Attendees will then receive a regulatory and safety update, highlighting the latest compliance issues and insights into the U.S. presidential election’s potential impact on trucking.

The morning will continue with a panel discussion involving small to medium-sized carriers, where executives will share strategies for surviving current market conditions and positioning for future success.
In the afternoon, an economic update will provide attendees with the latest industry outlook.

The day will end with an economic update and a panel of large carrier executives discussing workforce development, strategic investments, sustainability, and fleet management as they prepare for the challenges and opportunities of the upcoming year.
