Top Quebec driver named

Michel Bernicky and his wife are accompanied by Alain Delisle (Volvo Trucks Canada), Véronyque Tremblay (Ministry of Transportation, Sustainable Mobility, and Transportation Electrification), Patrick Turcotte (TYT Group), Norbert Demers ( OSI Transport), and Marc Cadieux (QTA).

LA MALBAIE, Que. — Michel Bernicky of Transport OSI in Bécancour, Que., has been named Quebec Driver of the Year by the Quebec Trucking Association (QTA).

Presented by Volvo Trucks Canada, in collaboration with the QTA, the prize is awarded to a driver who distinguishes himself through professionalism, involvement in the company, and the quality of his driving record.

Bernicky first sat behind the wheel as a child, with blocks on the pedals. After a 50-year career he has traveled more than 11.75 million km without a ticket or at-fault collision.
