Trailer Wizards sponsoring Trucks For Change in lieu of Xmas cards

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. — Trailer Wizards has announced a $5,000 sponsorship agreement with Trucks For Change Network, a nonprofit organization which connects charities in need of transportation services with trucking companies that have available capacity. Trailer Wizards officials say the decision to support Trucks For Change was made as a more green approach in lieu of sending out paper holiday cards this year.

“At Trailer Wizards, we’re committed to making an important and positive contribution to the communities we serve. We felt the money generally spent on holiday cards and postage would better go to serving those in need this holiday season,” said Doug Vanderspek, president of Trailer Wizards. “Aligning ourselves with Trucks For Change Network was a perfect fit for us as we work within the same industry and live in the same communities.”

“Trailer Wizards is an industry leader and a highly respected supplier to the trucking industry across Canada. This partnership confirms once again their commitment to our industry and its communities, and will help us to expand our network and impact on communities right across the country,” added Trucks For Change Network president Pete Dalmazzi.
