TORONTO, Ont. — The industry downturn was not apparent at this year’s Truck World, organizers say, noting a crowd of nearly 23,000 attended.

Truck World, held Apr. 17-19 in Toronto, featured 450 exhibitors and more than 350,000 sq.-ft. of exhibit space.

“Truck World is the place where the decision-makers in the Canadian trucking industry come to see and buy,” said Elizabeth McCullough, show manager, adding attendance was up over 12% compared to the 2006 show.

Show organizer, Newcom Business Media, will be hosting the Winnipeg Truck Show May 23-24.
