Trucking Announcements: Leadership appointments at FinditParts, Decisiv, DTNA, SCF

This week, Matt Schweickert was named the CEO of FinditParts, and Decisiv’s president Tim Hardin will become the company’s CEO. Meanwhile, Daimler Truck North America named Darren Trtek as director of supplier management and St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund added Rob Duda to its board of directors. And Ed Crawford, assistant vice-president of vehicle operations at Isuzu, is celebrating 26 years with the company.

FinditParts promotes Schweickert to CEO

FinditParts, an online supplier of heavy-duty and commercial vehicle parts, appointed Matt Schweickert as chief executive officer. Schweickert succeeds founder David Seewack, who has been named chairman and will continue to serve on FinditParts’ board of directors, according to a news release.

Schweickert currently serves as FinditParts’ chief operating officer and chief financial officer.

Seewack, who founded FinditParts in 2010, said in a news release, “These leadership changes position us to accelerate innovation, strengthen our market position, and deliver unmatched value to our customers and partners… Matt’s leadership, vision, and dedication make him the ideal person to guide the business forward.”

Hardin to take helm at Decisiv

Service relationship management solutions provider Decisiv announced that its president Tim Hardin will assume the role of chief executive officer. Dick Hyatt, former president and CEO and company founder, will continue to serve as chairman of the board.

“Over the past six months as president of Decisiv, Hardin has demonstrated exceptional leadership, a deep understanding of our market, and a steadfast commitment to our mission,” Hyatt said in a news release.

Hardin joined Decisiv earlier this year after serving as senior vice-president and general manager of global data services at Epicor. His experience also includes stints at at Solera, and ADP Dealer Services (now CDK Global).

DTNA appoints Trtek as director, supplier management

Daimler Truck North America (DTNA) has named Darren Trtek as director of supplier management. Since joining DTNA in 2007 as a material planner, he has held various leadership roles across operations and supply chain management, according to a news release. He has led digital and organizational transformation initiatives, managed the launch of the Phoenix parts distribution center, and recently guided global supplier strategy.

Trtek will serve as key account manager for North America operations and chair the global supplier management satellite board, working to shape the future of supplier management at Daimler Truck and Bus.

SCF adds Duda to board of directors

The St. Christopher Truckers Relief Fund (SCF) announced that public relations industry veteran Rob Duda has been added to the 2025 board of directors. Duda brings more than two decades of experience in strategic communications and transportation industry leadership to the SCF board, according to a news release.

He currently serves as senior vice-president at Peppercomm, a Ruder Finn Group company, where he leads communications strategy for major mobility and infrastructure clients. He is also the secretary of the board of directors for the International Motor Press Association.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rob to our board of directors,” said Courtney Niemann, executive director of SCF. “His experience working in the trucking and mobility industries, coupled with his passion for supporting professional drivers, will be invaluable as we continue to expand our reach and impact.”

Crawford marks 26 years with Isuzu

Ed Crawford, assistant vice-president of vehicle operations at Isuzu, is celebrating 26 years with the company. Over his career, he has held roles in marketing, strategic sales development, and vehicle operations. Prior to joining Isuzu, Crawford spent 12 years with a national truck body manufacturer in sales and management.

He is active with the Truck Rental and Leasing Association (TRALA), serving on several committees and chairing its meetings committee, as well as acting as TRALA’s annual meeting chairman for the past 10 years.
