Trucking HR Canada kicks off its workforce bootcamp in Alberta
Trucking HR Canada has launched a new traveling Workforce Bootcamp series for 2026, designed to deliver regional labor market intelligence, insights, and peer discussions directly to the trucking and logistics sector.
The first session will take place in Calgary on Feb. 19, running from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
The free session will focus on Alberta-specific workforce trends, recruitment and retention strategies, and current challenges facing employers in the province, and findings from Trucking HR Canada’s Alberta MELT graduate study.
The bootcamp will include interactive discussions, including a workforce development panel featuring THRC’s Top Fleet Employers: Bison Transport, Caron Transportation Systems, and Trimac.

“Trucking HR Canada travels across the country to support the trucking and logistics sector in every region,” said Angela Splinter, CEO of Trucking HR Canada, in a news release. “These condensed learning sessions are the perfect opportunity to collaborate with peers, discuss real challenges, and understand the workforce trends shaping your region — the first one tailored specifically to support success in Alberta.”
Additional bootcamps are planned for other regions in 2026 and beyond, with dates and locations to be announced.
