Tumber becomes president of Kriska Transportation Group
David Tumber was appointed president and chief operating officer (COO) of Kriska Transportation Group. Tumber has been with the company for almost a decade, serving as COO for the last four years.
Prior to joining Kriska Transportation Group in 2015 as a director of commercial development, he held the position of commercial general manager at Schneider National’s Canada division for nearly three years, supporting Schneider services, including one-way, dedicated, regional, and intermodal.
Tumber’s earlier experience includes holding a senior industry manager role at GS1 Canada, a non-profit supply chain association.
“I’m excited to take on this expanded role,” said Tumber in a news release. ”It will be a welcome challenge to lead the organization while overseeing operations as we drive towards operational excellence. My goal is to make KTG both bigger and better.”
