This five-video series looks closely at Freightliner’s New Cascadia. It’s not a rework or a remake of the popular Cascadia, but clean-page design that improves much of what made the Cascadia popular. Fuel efficiency is said to be 8 percent better than the current Evolution model and a whopping 13 percent better than the base-model Cascadia. But engineers didn’t stop there. There are several brand new interior packages that bring driver comfort and functionality to the next level, making it a great place to work and rest. In the first video we take you on a walk-around tour of the aerodynamic enhancements that do much to improve the truck’s fuel efficiency. The second video features the cab area and reveals the new interior as well as the some of the technology that makes the truck safer and more fuel efficient. The third video takes us into the sleeper area, highlighting some clever innovations that will make off-duty time more more comfortable and enjoyable. In the fourth video (still to come), we look at the New Cascadia’s new safety and fuel saving features and demonstrate how they work. Freightliner has changed the appearance of the dashboard, but it’s what’s behind the new displays that will save you money and keep you safe.
