Fraser River crossing decision coming in March
SURREY, B.C. — A decision regarding the proposed Fraser River crossing in the Lower Mainland will be rendered Mar. 26 as TransLink continues to seek public feedback on the proposal.
Meanwhile, Surrey city council has announced that building a new Fraser River crossing will require about $70 million in property purchases.
“Whichever way the route goes, we will need to buy some property,” project director, Fred Cummings, tells local media.
A public information meeting will be held Feb. 13, but the location has yet to be announced.
