CHERRY HILL, N.J. — NationaLease has merged with AmeriQuest to offer an integrated logistics service for private fleets and transportation service providers.

The company announced the new service in a release and said Michael Oetjen, former vice-president of national sales for AmeriQuest will head up the new business unit. He is now vice-president of integrated logistics for NationaLease.

The company said its new logistics service will complement the companys full-service leasing, customized maintenance, finance leasing, distribution routing and analysis and asset management services.

“NationaLease is now part of a technology-driven, solutions-based organization,” said Oetjen. “Our recent merger with AmeriQuest provided the opportunity for us to offer integrated logistics and related services that AmeriQuest has provided since 1999, and now from an even larger, and more effective, asset-based platform. Having the ability to draw resources from the appropriate business units allows us to address a broader range of business needs than just trucks or dedicated services. By incorporating the outstanding resources of the ownership body, as well as the various business units within our organization, we have the ability to present our clients with very creative, flexible, and comprehensive transportation and distribution services solutions.”
