Hanson elected TCA chairman

LAKE BUENA VISTA, Fla. – Robert Hanson has been elected chairman of the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA). He was sworn in at the association’s annual meeting last month in Florida.

Hanson began his trucking career as an owner/operator for North American Van Lines in 1964. In 1976, he and his wife Gail founded Robert Hanson Trucking and began hauling paint and electrical supplies as a contract carrier. By 1999, the company’s fleet had grown to 220 trucks. n
