Founder honored
MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Founder of the fleet that still carries his name, Bruce R. Smith is honored during a luncheon attended by several hundred invitees. The ceremony was part of the grand opening of the company’s new Mississauga, Ont. terminal in late November. The terminal features a 12.7-acre truck and trailer park, backup generators, a fuel island drawing off a 100,000-litre storage capacity, a secure yard, and even an automatic truck wash that can hose down a complete tractor-trailer combination. n
