GM appoints Raydan as authorized ship-thru facility
EDMONTON, Alta. – Raydan Manufacturing’s eastern and western manufacturing facilities have been approved to have GM medium-duty trucks ship-thru these facilities to install the Link UltraRide rear air suspension for GM dealers. Raydan’s Air Link rear air ride suspension has also been approved for installation on the 8500 series tandem trucks on a ship-thru basis.
The UltraRide is a complete rear air suspension system designed to improve the comfort and stability of light- and medium-duty trucks in most conditions, including heavy loads and severe driving. It is a total conversion to air spring suspension that replaces the standard leaf spring suspension system.
Raydan’s patented Air Link suspension will be available on a ship-thru basis into GMs 8500 series of tandem axle trucks. Its combination of air ride and walking beam technology is designed to offer high roll stability, lower maintenance costs, reduced impact damage and a smooth ride.
With more than 3,000 medium-duty GM trucks sold annually, Raydan officials say the company intends to use the opportunity to capture the marketplace and substantially increase suspension sales.
