Trux adds hourly dump delivery data
Trux has added a widget to its order delivery tracker for dump truck operations and the material producers who use them.
The existing tracker monitors deliveries through the day, and provides estimated times of arrival for material heading to a job site. The new widget displays hourly totals for the number of tons delivered, scheduled tons, and average delivered tons.
Time-sensitive materials like asphalt, or equipment rated for a particular velocity, rely on such data, the company says.
The order delivery tracker was launched in October 2019. Other widgets are scheduled to be launched in the coming months.
