Orange EV upgrading T-Series terminal trucks
Orange EV’s electric terminal trucks – an update to the T-Series Class 8 units that have been on the market since 2015 – will be available by the third quarter of 2022.
Upgrades include a battery capacity offering up to 233 kWh, for a truck with a gross combined weight rating of 180,000 lb., and top speeds of just over 50 km/h. The batteries also benefit from fast charging.
The frame and boom have also been reinforced, while hydraulic capacity has been increased as well.
