TFI International closes UPS Freight deal

TFI International has closed its acquisition of UPS Freight.

The company announced the acquisition, for US$800 million, in January. About 90% of the division will operate as TForce Freight within TFI International’s LTL business, while truckload assets will join its truckload business segment.

  • All I can say is….watch out Upper Management. The axe is coming. Do the research! One year, maybe two. UPS bailed on the Freight division for a reason. TFI will initiate cost cutting measures…..most vulnerable will be upper management. They will consolidate Regions as well as Districts. National Accounts will get rolled to Local Accounts. The big Bonus money will be a thing of the past! If the stock hits $190…..sell
