COLUMBUS, Ind. — Cummins has hit the road with its 2017 ISX15 engine and will bring it to 34 cities in the US and Canada during a coast-to-coast road show.

The 2015 Redefining Tour kicked off June 13 and will wrap up Oct. 6. Along the way, it will provide customers an up-close look at Cummins products, including its new ISX15 engine.

The tour features five tractor-trailer combinations, including a variety of truck brands. Engines on tour include the current ISX15, the Cummins-Eaton SmartAdvantage and the 2017 ISX15 with its single module aftertreatment system.

Customers will be able to check out fuel-efficient and high-performance spec’s on the tour. Among the displays is an interactive show trailer customers can walk through and explore. Within, engines including the ISB6.7, Cummins Westport ISX12 G and 2017 ISX15 will be on display.

“It is a delight to kick off the Redefining Tour here in Columbus, with our historic Columbus Engine Plant as the backdrop,” Amy Boerger, vice-president, North American Engine Business said when kicking off the tour. “Today and the stops that will follow on the tour are a testament to the commitment Cummins has in listening to and interacting directly with our customers.”

Four Power Stops will be included on the tour, featuring more diesel and natural gas equipment. Among those is the Toronto visit, scheduled for June 24.
