KELOWNA, B.C. — Inland Kenworth has opened a new parts and service location in Kelowna and a new full-service dealership in Albuquerque, New Mexico.

The Albuquerque dealership is located at I-40 and Unser Rd., between Exits 153 and 155.

“This new location continues the rapid growth we’ve seen throughout all of our U.S. operations in the past few years,” said Greg Sternberg, vice-president of US operations in Arizona and New Mexico. “Strategically located along I-40, the new building will be of easy access to truckers driving through Albuquerque and will be a one-stop shop for their repairs, parts and new sales.”

The new parts and service location in Kelowna marks the company’s first foray into the area. It is a 10,000 sq.-ft. facility, just off Hwy. 97.

“The Okanagan Highway is a major truck route connecting Kelowna with Vancouver,” said Rick Datoff, dealer manager for the new Kelowna shop. “Local customers in the construction and logging industries, as well as transient customers, will find this dealership easy to find and more convenient for drivers than traveling 54 kilometres north to Vernon or 62 kilometres south to Penticton for Kenworth parts and service support.”

The Kelowna facility is at 2485 Ross Rd. It features six service bays.

Meanwhile, Inland Kenworth is planning to add another location in Terrace, B.C. this fall.
