NationaLease presents awards to top Canadian members, supplier

MONTREAL, Que. — TFI Holdings of Montreal and VEL NationaLease of Hartland, N.B. were recently recognized with Most Valuable Performance awards from NationaLease.

The awards recognized NationaLease members who have had outstanding performance in the areas of business growth, member participation and purchasing within the NationaLease system.

Brad Thiessen, vice-president and general manager of Freightliner, was presented with the NationaLease Supplier of the Year award.

The awards were presented at NationaLease’s Canadian Leadership Summit last month in Montreal. The event brought together Canadian members to discuss the leasing industry in Canada.

Topics covered included autonomous trucks and new technologies. Guest speakers included Corey Cox of Tandet NationaLease, Yves Maurais of Robert NationaLease and Mike Margarone of DeCarolis Truck Rental. Next year’s meeting will take place Nov. 1-3 in Toronto, Ont.
