LISLE, Ill. — Navistar’s parts distribution centres, including one in Edmonton, Alta., have been recognized as top performers in the truck and heavy equipment industry as part of a new awards program.

Navistar took five of the top 10 positions, including first and second. The awards were given by Carlisle & Co. In first place was Navistar’s Las Vegas Parts Distribution Center. The Edmonton location came second. Locations in Queretaro, Mexico, Portland, Ore. and Atlanta, Ga. were also among the top 10.

The awards program recognized warehouses that are top in class in delivering high-quality parts availability to customers in an efficient and productive manner.

“This recognition from Carlisle & Co. is a source of great pride to our company and people, and shows just how dedicated we are to providing the best possible parts distribution network in the industry,” said Josef Kory, vice-president supply chain, Navistar. “Our performance also reflects Navistar’s commitment to Uptime by having the right parts available to keep our customer’s trucks on the road.”
