Tesla shifts Semi deliveries to 2021

PALO ALTO, Calif. — Fleets who made a deposit for one of the first Tesla Semis will have to wait until 2021 before taking delivery.

The company announced the shift, from 2020, during its Q1 earnings call yesterday.

The company reported a first quarter profit of US$16 million. But the Covid-19 pandemic has required it to halt production at plants in Shanghai, China and in California.
