Velocity Truck Centres opens new dealership in Kelowna
Velocity Truck Centres has opened a new 40,000 sq.-ft. dealership in Kelowna, B.C., located at 6320 Lapointe Drive.
The dealership will sell Freightliner trucks, Rizon electric trucks, Lode King trailers and other equipment. It was built to support electric trucks and those fueled by hydrogen and compressed natural gas, making it one of only two such locations in the Okanagan region, the company said in a release.

Specialized ventilation, detection and safety systems are installed in a hydrogen/CNG bay. A grand opening was held June 20.
“We’re thrilled to expand our presence in the Okanagan with a facility that delivers faster service, deeper inventory, and an enhanced customer experience,” said Tant Boothman, president, Velocity Truck Centres Canada. “This location underscores our commitment to supporting drivers and fleet managers across the region.”
Additional features include: 19 full-service bays; extensive on-site new and pre-owned truck inventory; an expansive parts warehouse; rental and leasing options; and a drivers’ lounge.
