DriveCam, a global driver risk management company, has developed an event recorder in an effort to improve the way people drive. DriveCam’s palm-sized, exception-based video event recorder is mounted on the windshield and captures sights and sounds inside and outside the vehicle. Exceptional forces such as hard braking, swerving and collisions, cause the recorder to save seconds of audio and video footage immediately before and after the triggered event. Saved event clips can be downloaded, analyzed, assigned a risk score and used to provide driver coaching. For more information, visit www.drivecam.com.
