Cancom Tracking has certified Concord-based Accord Software, as part of its Certified Software Vendor Program.

Accord Software has successfully married their host software called Centerline with OmniTRACS, and achieved level one certification with their dispatch software. In addition, by being part of the Software Certification Program, customers can be assured that Accord Software and Cancom Tracking will work together to provide the latest in functionality and technology.

Working with Cancom’s patented “Circle of Service”, using Centerline’s message management module, Accord Software takes the information provided by drivers and unites it with their software. OmniTRACS transmits vehicle-positioning information that can be integrated into Accord’s Centerline software.

Most of the information currently entered by drivers and dispatchers will be transferred via OmniTRACS, and then updated automatically into Centerline. Drivers can record 98% of dispatch events.

“In an industry that is rapidly changing it is important to listen to your customers and update your product offering on a regular basis. Becoming certified by Cancom is just another example of our commitment to providing the most comprehensive and advanced Transportation Management System for both LTL and TL carriers,” Accord’s director of business development, Kirk Dickson, says.
