TRURO, N.S. – The Atlantic Provinces Trucking Association’s Safety Council will be holding its annual Driver Appreciation days at the Truro Heights Irving, from noon Sept. 9 to Sept. 10.

This event will run in conjunction with National Trucking Week, which falls on the week of Sept. 6 to 12.

The APTA Safety Council Members will be on hand to give out free snacks and prizes to drivers as a way to say thank you to the driving professionals that keep the country moving. They are asking for generous donations of prizes that can also be given to the drivers.

Carrier company representatives are also welcome to attend the event to show appreciation for the driver population.

If you would like to donate a prize, or for more details, contact Chris McKee at 506-855-2782.
