FREDERICTON, N.B. – The schedule for the spring weight restrictions for all of Atlantic Canada and Quebec have been announced.

For New Brunswick, the thaw began in the south Mar. 11 and began in the north Mar. 18. P.E.I.’s restrictions mirror theirs.

Nova Scotia kicked in its restrictions Mar. 12.

Quebec’s massive territory is sliced into three zones: southern Quebec saw spring arrive Mar. 12; central Quebec saw them effective Mar. 19; and the northern tier will see them effective Mar. 26.

Newfoundland doesn’t impose spring-thaw weight restrictions. n
