Bison expanding to the east

MISSISSAUGA, Ont. – Bison Transport is expanding its network into Eastern Canada with a $4.5-million investment in a maintenance and driver facility on Shawson Drive in Mississauga, Ont.

The official grand opening is July 25, showcasing the 20,000 square foot shop that will run 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and is designed to enhance complement an existing terminal in Calgary and corporate head office and operations centre in Winnipeg.

Rob Penner, vice-president of operations, moves to the Toronto area from Winnipeg to oversee the expansion. n
