Bison wins coveted TCA safety award

WINNIPEG, Man. – Bison Transport has been selected as the grand prize winner of the highly coveted Truckload Carriers Association 2005 National Fleet Safety Award in the over 25 million miles category in Orlando, Fla. March 14.

Bison was judged a leader based on stringent safety criteria, safety and training programs, as well as Bison’s overall philosophy that a well developed safety culture creates positive change.

“This award recognizes our people and their commitment to safety,” said Don Streuber, Bison’s president and CEO. “People create positive change and it is people’s attitudes, decisions and actions that make the difference.”
