Bradley is no trucker
Dear Editor,
Re: David Bradley’s column, “My name is Dave and I’m a Canadian trucker” (TN, July 2000)
David Bradley seems to forget that the Canadian trucker is the trucking industry. People like him are too busy lobbying for heavier weights, longer loads, etc. (I’d like to see him climbing hills and maneuvering these loads, never mind trying to stop them.)
If he had a clue what a Canadian trucker is, and the hardships that they are going through, he would be trying to solve some of the serious problems plaguing drivers, owner/operators and companies. Remember: no drivers and no trucks equal no industry.
