Calgary workers can’t call at wheel

CALGARY, Alta. – The City of Calgary is now prohibiting its workers from using cell phones when they’re at the wheel.

An estimated 1,500 workers – driving everything from pick-ups to garbage trucks – are affected. The Alberta government is wondering whether to legally prohibit the practice of making calls at the wheel. n
